This 6 hole portable mini golf set was inspired by my family's love for retro arcade games.
Formerly a Gnome themed mini golf course that toured festivals, birthday parties and school fairs for years, the set was showing it's age and seriously needed an upgrade!
My husband and I originally created this course 'B.C."—Before Children. For this incarnation, my twin boys were a huge help repainting the borders and coming up with ideas for each hole.
I designed custom features and had them cut out of gator foam on a CNC. The Pac Man and Space Invaders boxes include a light inside and colorful plexi to make them glow. The furry yetis from the gnome theme stayed on as the villains in the PC game "Ski Free" from 1992.
Of course we needed matching t-shirts with our new logo for the debut of the new set at Medfield Day 2025.
The kiosk is my personal favorite part of the course. I designed an built it myself. The original is on the right.
The new signage and all the detail paintwork is done in UV reflective paint for night time fun! (more on that to come in 2026!)
