NYC Burning Man Decompression
October 17th, 2009 | Floyd Bennet Field, Brooklyn, NY

Rob and Anne-Marie drove their 14' Sioux tipi to Brooklyn, NY from Massachusetts to the 2009 Burning Man Decompression event. Inside, Rob played tracks of his ambient guitar music amid dreamy twinkle lights. We kept the top flaps closed against the intermittent rain. Many participants enjoyed the safety of the space, the cozy rugs and cushions and the chance to relax amid the energetic party going on outside.
They were joined by an impromptu guest performer from Manhattan for a portion of the evening. At 3am they started wrapping up the party and packed everything into the car once again for the long drive north.
