Background:
My client needed a circular exhibit environment to showcase his new sculpture at the American Physical Society Annual Conference. The sculpture provided an interactive light and sound experience when guests pushed a button.
Both graphic design and sourcing of the hardware was needed for this project. I was able to work with a national trade show supplier to source and print these curved pillow case stands.
Design:
Following a sequence of past, present and future on the outer panels, and team recognition, education and instruction on the interior panels. The panels came to life by combining the technical drawings of the machine, team photos and reference photos with classical Victorian elements and brass accents.
Results:
Guests enjoyed a 360 degree experience, with the fantastic dynamic Quantum Steampunk Engine at the center of attention!
